Zora is a 9 month old lab/Shar Pei mix. Her owners didn’t give her a good start: they did not give her enough good socialization or any training, so they turned her in to the shelter when their other dog became aggressive towards her.
She’s now been in the shelter since June—a third of her short life! She’s now going stir-crazy in her kennel and combine that with her lack of training, and it’s no wonder she has started to nipping at the volunteers’ boots!
Do you have experience with dogs? Are you ready to help train this sweet puppy to give her a better life? Better yet are you ready to give her the forever home she so desperately needs? Zora would do best in a home with no children or maybe older children also experienced with dogs who can help train her.
It’s critical we find her a home by October 2, 2016! Sheltered Paws will help cover the cost of training to get her started. Please help Zora!
